“To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.”

Audrey Hepburn

Have you sat longingly looking at pictures of gardens on social media wishing you too could have a garden like that?

Have you ever walked to your garden on a warm summer day to pick the perfect tomato and indulged in the joy of a fresh tomato sandwich? Or wished you could?

Do you dream of your own garden space and immediately freeze in fear and confusion?

Stop. Because you too can have the perfect garden for you. Whether it be a couple of simple raised beds or a labyrinth of arches and trellises. A traditional inground rectangle like your grandpa had or a pretty little cottage garden. Your garden dreams CAN come true.

There are few things more fulfilling than growing a garden. A garden is sustainability. It’s reducing your carbon footprint and knowing where at least some of your food comes from.

But a garden is so much more than that.
A garden is therapy. It’s a creative space. It’s something that nurtures you as you nurture it.

What plants should you grow?
Where is the best place to get plants in your area?
What plants will come back next year?
Where should you put your garden or your plants in your space?

Starting a garden can seem very overwhelming.

The answer is simple.
Garden Consultation.

Every year I receive dozens, if not hundreds of garden questions. I hear people constantly say they want a garden but can’t for one reason or another.  The truth is even if you have a small outdoor space, you absolutely can garden. Even if you know absolutely nothing about plants and how to grow them, you can become a gardener. Even with only a small patio space you can grow your own herbs and vegetables.

I’m going to break it down for you so it’s very simple.

You set your budget. You decide what you want. I help you achieve it. And after it’s all in I can help guide you through the entire season. From a simple phone check in to a regular in person visit. I can even help with harvest and preservation. Don’t know how to can those tomatoes? I got you.

Here is an example of a 2 4Wx6Lx2H  Cedar raised bed system with a garden trellis between them.

Budget $3500

Raised beds $1500
Trellis $500
Plants $500
Soil $500
Consultation and oversight $500

This would include all of the groundwork, installation of the beds, soil, plants and trellis, cost of materials, the design and the oversight of the project.

Want something a bit more budget friendly? A little more modern?

These metal beds are super fun and less expensive than cedar with all the same benefits and life expectancy of cedar beds. And they come in a variety of colors if you enjoy a more vibrant, eclectic space.

Prefer a more wild, natural look or a cottage style garden?

Don’t have space for a full garden but have room for some barrels and pots?

The options are endless.

A Garden Consultation can get you started.

For $150 I will email you a few questions to help you prepare and meet with you in your space for an hour to discuss your dreams and options.

I will prepare for you a detailed design, offer advice, ideas and sources, provide an estimate for materials and together we will build your dream garden.

Additional in person consultations throughout the season as needed will be $100 per in person session and $75 per phone, text, email or video chat session.

If my team and I help you build your dream garden the original consultation fee will be deducted from the final design cost.

Here are some of the things my team and I can offer….
